All our tables, both outdoor and indoor, are available with Belgian Bluestone tabletops. Belgian Bluestone naturally contains fossils and greyish veins which run through the stone giving each piece of stone its own very unique character. Bluestone literally comes alive when wet as the moisture illuminates the fossils and veins in the Bluestone. Oxenwood’s authentic table designs in combination with our tactile tabletops make Oxenwood tables so unique; each table has its own story and soul.
Our Belgian Bluestone tabletops come in a number of different finishes; all of which are Belgian Bluestone; just finished differently. We also offer our stunning Artisan Polished Concrete tabletops as an alternative to Bluestone.
Our “Antique” Bluestone finish is very popular and our most popular finish. The “Antique” finish has a textured finish and contains an abundance of variation within the Bluestone. A stone with real character. The “Antique” finish comes with either a smooth or a rocky edge.
The “Smooth” Bluestone finish is very popular and the smoothest of smooth Bluestone. It is silky to the touch and blends in effortlessly into any garden environment.
Our “Ferrara Korinthian” Bluestone finish is our “Rolls Royce” finish. A finish which is unique and creates a truly stunning tabletop. Ferrara Korinthian” Bluestone contains elements of hammered, honed and etched finishes all in the one piece of Bluestone to create a tabletop full of personality.
Oxenwood’s “Leathered” Bluestone finish has a lustrous and rich appearance and feel. Our darkest Bluestone finish which highlights the fossils beautifully.
Our “Honed” Bluestone finish is similar to our Leathered Bluestone but with a matt finish. Somewhat more understated than our Leathered Bluestone whilst highlighting the Bluestone’s fossils and veins admirably.
Our “Artisan” Polished Concrete tabletops are unique, whilst offering a lighter option than our solid Bluestone tabletops. We worked closely with a leading artisan and polished concrete specialist to develop Oxenwood’s authentic Artisan Polished Concrete tabletops. We love the subtle colour variations and small surface apertures which in turn give our “Artisan” Polished Concrete tabletops their own personality. Our “Artisan” Polished Concrete tabletops are also a good option where access or weight may be an issue; our polished concrete tabletops are significantly lighter than our Bluestone tabletops.
