Moonwalk for BreastCancer Now
Putting something back into society is at the core of our ethos at Oxenwood. Oxenwood donates ten per cent of our profits to Breast Cancer Now (formerly Breakthrough Breast Cancer).
Fighting breast cancer is a cause very close to Charlie’s and his family’s hearts. Charlie’s first wife died of breast cancer when she was still very young, leaving two boys aged 3 and 5, and Charlie’s second wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. So Charlie’s family is intimately aware of this devastating disease and is fully committed to helping fund breast cancer research.
At Oxenwood we are super proud that Charlie’s wife, Camilla, and daughter, Emily, will be walking the 22nd Moonwalk on the night of Saturday 11 May 2019 to raise money for breast cancer research. The Moonwalk is a 26.2 mile walk (taking approximately eight and a half hours) through Central London during the night with the participants wearing decorated, brightly coloured bras on the outside of their T shirts!
